Simply come to the Globe-Trotter flagship store in the Burlington Arcade and you, the customers are able to pick the typefaces, sizes and colors for either a new suitcase purchased or for an existing GLOBE-TROTTER CASE.

That’s exactly a simple method people did since the Victorian era when luggage was intended almost exclusively for horse drawn coach and train travel, frequently sent on ahead by the owner and handled solely by servants and porters. Trunks and portmanteaux were adorned with the owners initials, hand painted often by skilled sign writers of the time

It’s only £75.00 per set of initials (up to 6 letters on one side of the suitcase) and you’ll get your initial fashioned by the modern technology and age-old craftsmanship.

Initially, the Bespoke Team at Broxbourne factory in Hertfordshire will make a special cut vinyl as a guide. On the next step, the initials are then hand painted directly onto the front position (lid) of the Globe-Trotter suitcase to create a traditional yet contemporary, durable effect to last a lifetime of use. I think it will last such long that your offspring will still admire the beauty of the customized luggage.
