Support Children’s Education; Bulgari Special Edition Ring to Save the Children Rewrite the Future

Bulgari Save the Children Ring, special edition Bulgari\'s 125th birthday

Seeing this ring, my mind recalls Michael Jackson’s hits:
“We are the World/
We are the Children/”

“Heal the World/
Make it a better place/”

But indeed Bulgari Jeweler has something different!

Eight million children living in the conflict-affected areas and they don’t have proper quality education. So that Italian Jeweler Bulgari has committed to raise €10 million charity (which €1 million will be donated by Bulgari in advance) for the children through “Rewrite the Future” campaign of Save the Children.

As part of Bulgari’s 125th birthday in 2009, the jeweler is to launch shiny silver ring which features Bulgari’s excellence and “Save the Children” logo engraved inside. The collections will be available from February 1st to December 31st, 2009 for €290 / $290 (incl. VAT).

Find them at all Bulgari stores throughout the world, some selected department stores, and Bulgari’s e-commerce website. For each pieces sold, Bulgari will donate €50 / $60.

Bulgari is also to presents a collection of 15 pieces of high jewelry and eight pieces of high-end timepieces, worth €3 million. You can enjoy this collection on Bulgari’s exhibition throughout the year 2009 starting from Bulgari’s retrospective exhibition “Between Eternity and History” on June 2009 in Rome. At the end of the year, the luxurious collection will be auctioned and the proceeds will be fully donated to Save the Children’s “Rewrite the Future” campaign.

Save the Children is the largest independent international organisation for the defence and championing of children’s rights, present in over 100 countries around the world. Through the “Rewrite the Future” campaign, up to now Save the Children has rebuilt schools, supplied school materials and protected children from abuse and exploitation, paving the way for a durable change in the life of almost 6 million children.
