Tanner, the Portland based leather goods maker has just issued their new summer collection of 2008: Satchel Bags.
These messenger bags are part of their first summer product release.

In this release, they’ve made some delicate design improvement as a nickel-plated aluminum eyelet rivet the fastening straps to the body of the bag. Tanner envisioned and manufactured them in-house to make sure the results matched to their credo. No outsourcing.

Tanner also remodeled the bag closure. With the loop and strap system as applied in military bag, it now become more secured and practical to fasten the satchel closed.

Yet, in each Satchel Bag you will have the additional removable leather inserts which easily snap in and out. The inserts suit letter sized document and feature zippered document and pouch for your pens and stuffs.

These cool summer bags are available in portrait and landscape version.

Tanner is a sub-brand of Hecklewood for fine leather goods including belt, bag and wallet. Tanner leather goods are designed with attention to details, utilitarian form and high end materials. Each product is manufactured in Portland workshop; cut, sewn, and branded by hand to ensure the excellent quality.

Hecklewood is already known as the maker of fine tees and hoodies, found by Mark and Sam.
