TIGER WOODS used to be the TAG Heuer ambassador. Since the infidelity scandal revealed in 2009 his career went to bearish trend and one by one, the sponsors get out of the ‘market’. However, ROLEX seems to believe that Wood’s career has rebounded as of today the legendary Swiss watchmaker announces its partnership with the world’s no. 51 golfer.

On the campaign poster, Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods (born December 30, 1975) is seen wearing ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DAY-DATE II. He continues the legacy of the legendary golfers ever wore the model that includes Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player – known as “The Big Three”. He also accompanies the world’s #10 ranked golfer PHIL MICKELSON “King of the Flop Shot”, promoting the series which happens to be the ultimate reference chosen by the world’s elite.
Initially introduced in 1956, Rolex Day Date (36 mm in diameter) was the first watch in the world to indicate the day of the week spelt out in full. The next generation enhances the original; Day-Date II series (41 mm in diameter) can display the day in the wide choice of languages; also it has Blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorber. Unlike the conventional one made from ferromagnetic alloys material, the Parachrom hairspring includes paramagnetic alloy, making it unaffected by magnetic fields and up to 10 times more resistant to shocks.
