As Hublot joined forces with martial artist Jet Li, then RICHARD MILLE got Jacky Chan. The latter Swiss premium watch company has just unveiled its bright-colored wristwatch to support Jackie Chan’s “Dragon’s Heart Foundation”.
Designed by the Hong Kong-born super star, JACKY CHAN and Richard Mille’s artistic director, Mélanie Treton-Monceyron, the RM 055 JC Tourbillon incorporates the brand’s signature tourneau shape, 48.18 mm tall x 39.70 mm wide x 13.95 mm thick, made in 18k white gold. The timepiece is animated by manual winding tourbillon with hours, minutes, power reserve indicator (70-hours), torque indicator and function selector. The movement’s base plate is made of carbon nano-fiber. The logo of Dragon’s Heart Foundation – blue, red, and green figures that represent Jacky Chan holding hands with two children as the symbol of childhood, love and sharing – is embedded within the dial at the heart of the movement; and so does the inscription “Dragon’s Heart Foundation” both in English and Chinese. The English one is boldly etched at 9 o’clock while latter is at 6 o’clock. The watch case-back features inscription ‘Foundation Jackie Chan’ and Jacky Chan’s emblem: a dragon is stamped at the centre.

André Villas-Boas is the new brand ambassador of Franck Muller. The Portuguese football manager and the Swiss complicated watch-making company signed the deal on June 17, 2011. He has been before recognized as a wristwatch collector. Many pictures show him wearing various kind of watch while on training or a match.
