What a unique futuristic watch! Denis Guidone, the winner of Adamo Eva International Design Competition 2008 releases his recent design. And once again, he performs a breathtaking watch named Ora Lattea which means the Milky Way Hour. In some ways, it reminds us of our galaxy, the Milky Way.
The four different sized dots tells you the time, from the biggest to smallest, in decreasing order, hours, minutes, and seconds. The dot in the center doesn’t move.
Denis Guidone also designed Ora Vago and Ora Ameba.
Ora Vago (means Elusive Hour) is the watch resembled to the hands of compass, while the Ora Ameba (means Amoeba Hour) shows only the tips of the watch hands as the metaphor of contemporary city which has no center.
