In the soccer World Cup, Italy is the fourth time winner. Only Brazil can surpass their achievement on that biggest international football event by winning it five times. In fact, Italy is the defending champion for the next World Cup 2010 in South Africa. The blue dial matches Italian team’s kit color while the small seconds hand presents the colors of the Italian flag (green, white and red). The 4 gold stars on the continuous seconds dial correspond to the Italian football team’s four World Cup victories.
