Besides the Secret Agent’s Jorg Gray Watch, the 44th President of the Unites States Barack Hussein Obama was also spotted wearing TAG HEUER Watch 1500 Professional Series for 15 years of his early political career.

It’s a TAG HEUER 1500 Two Tone Diver Series introduced in 1991 as “professional sport watches” and “first and foremost functional pieces of diving equipment”.
With its excellent large solid stainless steel case, the watch features unidirectional rotating bezel, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, luminous pointers, double safety clasp as well as water resistance to 200 meters.

This Obama’s TAG HEUER Watch - numbered WD1211-K-20 - was available in bracelet or leather strap, worth US $625 and $575 respectively. (Barack Obama wore the leather strap one).

The 1500 Professional series was discontinued in 1998 but after what the publicity has happened, perhaps the Swiss watchmaker should re-consider launching the series again.
Anyway, of the TAG HEUER’s current line of watches, the closest similar to the 1500 Professional Two-Tone Diver Watch might be Aquaracer Series with reference WAF1120.BB0807
