Playing in FIFA World Cup finals Twenty Ten, Mexico National Football Team is accompanied by the special edition of Hublot Watch in the hope that it will bring luck to them as it did for “Lu Furia Roja” Spain National Team in UEFA European Championship 2008. As the Swiss luxury watchmaker renewed its prosperous partnership with the Mexican Football Federation (Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación or FMF). Jean Claude-Biver, CEO of Hublot, presented the very first new limited edition Big Bang to the head coach JAVIER AGUIRRE on the pitch at the Estadio Azteca. (Apparently, Diego Maradona is not the only national team’s trainer who wears Hublot during the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa).

On the launching ceremony, attended also by the famous Mexican actress and ambassador for the brand, JACKY BRACAMONTES, the micro blasted black ceramic watch – sizing 44.5 mm in diameter, was also presented to the President of FMF, Mr. Justino Compeán. The ceremony was hotly anticipated by the entire Mexican football community.

The NEW FMF AERO BANG 2010 WATCH features red and green details on its openworked skeleton dial and on its hands, reflecting the three colors of Mexico’s flag - of which the national team received the nickname “El Tri” (the three-colored). The dial is also decorated with black nickel appliqué indexes and green transfer.

Unlike the first edition which has more simple appearance, the new HUBLOT BIG BANG MEXICO limited edition features sophisticated dial of microblasted openworked skeleton with black nickel appliqué indexes and green transfer. The red and green details on the dial and alligator strap reflect the three colors of Mexican flag – of which its national team received the nickname “El Tri”. Another difference from the 2007 Big Bang Mexican is the location of FMF logo. It was at the front - on the dial; but now it is on the sapphire crystal openworked case-back.
