Map of Asia Continent on Jaeger-LeCoultre Watch

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grand Tourbillon Continent Asia

As far as I’m concerned, the latest luxurious watch featuring world map was Marco Polo and Columbus Watches by Vacheron Constantin; and today we have a new timepiece by Swiss watchmaker Jaeger LeCoultre depicting islands and continents. It is called JAEGER LECOULTRE MASTER GRAND TOURBILLON CONTINENTS.

Like the Vacheron Constantin ‘Métiers d’Art Tribute to Great Explorers’ Watches, the map design on this luxurious piece is also made of enamel that took some days to hand-painted them. Enameling is a sophisticated art of hand craftsmanship in which only a few artisans persevere with the skill. No wonder this Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grand Tourbillon Asia Continents will only be available in limited edition. Besides the exclusive rare-platinum-case watches (platinum material is more luxurious than gold), this watch is also available in limited edition of 40 pieces; 20 pieces are in yellow gold case while the others are in pink gold case.

The platinum bezel of this watch is also designed with a geographical coordinates of the central point and compass-like detailing to match the map design on the 18-carat dial. The alligator leather strap enhances the luxurious appearance of this watch.

As a MASTER GRAND TOURBILLON series, this new JAEGER-LECOULTRE timepiece features pointer-type jumping date display, at 6 o’clock, over the map of Indonesia. It is an ingenious patented jumping date mechanism that demonstrates the Tourbillon carriage. The 15th and 16th date of each month has been developed on either side of the Tourbillon carriage opening. The date can be adjusted in either direction.

Specification:
