One day before the spooky Friday the 13th, and two days before the Valentine’s Day, INCASE finally launches their third installment of Curated by Arkitip project featuring Steven Harrington’s print work on Laptop Sleeve and Slider Case.

The artist, carefully chosen by Hollywood based art magazine ARKITIP, lives and works in Los Angeles, CA but has received international recognition for his commercial and self-inspired art projects. Exploring his works, people can come to their own interpretation as he infuses tangible objects that people can relate to like a photograph or memory. Indeed, Steven Harrington is influenced by Time-Life Encyclopedias 1965-1972, thrift stores and the 60s pysch sounds of The Moody Blues. Sophisticated term for his art might be “contextual objectivism”.

In this video, directed by Felipe Lima, Steven Harrington is explaining his collaborative project with Incase and Arkitip

Apparently, this is not his first collaboration with Arkitip as he ever participated in the Arkitip “Highmath” group exhibition in Berlin.

For this INCASE products, Harrington incorporates a multiplicity of colorful patterns symbolic of connectivity and community.

The Steven Harrington’s sleeve and case are respectively compatible for  Apple MacBook Pro 15” and iPhone 3G.

About the Curated by Arkitip projects
Curated by Arkitip” is a collaborative project between INCASE, the maker of innovative cases and ARKITIP, the Hollywood-based art magazine. It is aimed at delivering artistically embellished Apple products to users who have appreciation for the creative arts and technology.

The exceptional artists were chosen by Arkitip from around the world to give their artistry touch to Incase products. The first series is from Craig Costello a.k.a KRINK, the U.S. street artist known for his or his dripping ink aesthetic; it was then followed by the second innovative case featuring Dutch artist PARRA, famous for Giclé prints featuring bright colors and weird beak-faced character with human body.
