FERNANDO TORRES might have been the first in Spain who sported PIAGET Polo FortyFive recently; but this photo shows that the Spanish International striker also wears another brand of watch. HUBLOT caught him in the act sporting Hublot Watch with gold bezel.
The picture is too fuzzy for me to recognize the series, but it is probably HUBLOT CLASSIC 41 mm in RED GOLD or HUBLOT CLASSIC MEN’S REGULATEUR 18K RED GOLD WATCH. The other series of Hublot Classic, such as the “42 mm” also comes with red gold bezel, but it has three crowns instead of one as worn by Fernando Torres. Hublot Big Bang 38 mm is also similar with the one in the picture; but its bezel is adorned with hundred of diamonds.
HUBLOT CLASSIC 41 mm in RED GOLD (part number: 1915.NE10.8) features 18k red gold case (41 mm in diameter), bezel, hour markers and hands. It has black dial and black rubber strap with self-winding movement. The date display is at 3 o’clock, text of “automatic” at 6 o’clock, while Hublot Logo and text of “Hublot Geneve” are at 12 o’clock.

It also includes black textured regulateur dial with anti-reflective sapphire crystal and black rubber band with deployment clasp. The date display is at 3 o’clock while Hublot logo is at 9 o’clock. Apparently, Liverpool player Fernando Torres is not the only one wearing the official brand of Manchester United’s Watch; his colleague player Xabi Alonso, Didier Drogba and Claude Makalele of Chelsea, Eric Abidal of Barcelona FC and Franck Ribery of Bayern Muenchen were priorly spotted wearing Hublot Watches in any casual occasions.

As many famous soccer players choose HUBLOT WATCH to fashion their style, the Swiss watchmaking company has been strengthening their position in international football industry. HUBLOT, a unit of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA made their debut with Swiss Team at World Cup 2006, later linked up as the official watch of Euro 2008 and latterly to Spanish Federation. In 2008, Hublot agreed a sponsorship deal with Manchester United football club, worth £4 million a year. It was then followed by the launch of Official Manchester United Timepieces: Hublot Red Devil Bang in 2008 and Red Devil Bang II in July 2009.
About Hublot
Founded by Carlo Crocco in 1980, HUBLOT Company gained many successes in the 1980’s, but when watch industry genius Jean Claude Biver joined the firm in 2004 a phenomena was born. Hublot remains one of the last independent family-run watchmaking businesses with a unique mono-product concept. Hublot was able to preserve its personality and extend its range to include an array of collections, some featuring sports complications and limited editions.
