Croata 4, Necktie with Spirit of Fashion Invention

Croata Necktie Braiding Motif

For this time being, Croatia is known as one of the most frightening football team in Euro 2008. But, do you know that this Central European Republic is apparently the birthplace of the tie? Croatian soldiers came to France in the 30 Years War (1618 – 1648) not only to help France in the war, but unintentionally introduce their Cravat; a kerchief knotted around the neck by their females as a mark of devotion. French loved the knotted accessories and adopt it.

In the spirit of the fashion invention, Croata, one of the prominent neckwear boutiques in Croatia has launched a limited edition series called “Croata 4”. Available in four of each type only, Croata 4 is crafted from silk in traditional pattern: braiding motif and Glagolic Script, the original alphabet of Slavic languages.

Braiding is the ornament found in the ancient Early Croatian stone monuments from the period of the Croatian princes and kings. Croats loves the early middle ages ornament which already adorned their ceremonial robes.

Have this authentic tie for US $139.
