HUBLOT first boutique in Hong Kong

HUBLOT, renowned for their official Manchester United Watch, has just opened their first stand-alone boutique store in Century Square, Hong Kong, at the heart of the luxury brands area. The Grand Opening ceremonies were held on April 17, 2009 with the presence of Mr. Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of HUBLOT, as well as 100 press and guests including Chairman of Swiss Prestige Emil Klingelfuss, Consul General of the Consulate General of Switzerland Hans J. Roth and artist David Wu, the master of the ceremony for the event.

At the ceremonies, the leading luxury Swiss watch brand features the one and only Hublot One Million Dollar Caviar Big Bang Watch with totally invisible setting, and the new 2009 collections. More astonishingly, the world’s best soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United delivered a special video message to celebrate the opening of the boutiques.

Will It Be CR9 Store?

CR9 Store by Cristiano Ronaldo

We already know FIFA World Player 2008 Cristiano Ronaldo owns two boutique stores in Portugal named after his famous title: CR7. But apparently, he has registered another trademark at the National Institute of Industrial Property in Lisbon. It’s “CR9”!

Certainly this new number has been linked with the rumors of his move to Real Madrid next season. As Real Madrid’s icon Raul Gonzales said to be unwilling to give up the number 7 shirt, so Ronaldo appears to wear number 9 jersey.

The new copyrighted digits, CR9 will be used on merchandise as well as the name for Ronaldo’s restaurants or bars. He also made a sponsorship deal with a Portuguese bank giving them exclusive marketing rights when he moves to the Spanish Club.
