One day before the spooky Friday the 13th, and two days before the Valentine’s Day, INCASE finally launches their third installment of Curated by Arkitip project featuring Steven Harrington’s print work on Laptop Sleeve and Slider Case.

The artist, carefully chosen by Hollywood based art magazine ARKITIP, lives and works in Los Angeles, CA but has received international recognition for his commercial and self-inspired art projects. Exploring his works, people can come to their own interpretation as he infuses tangible objects that people can relate to like a photograph or memory. Indeed, Steven Harrington is influenced by Time-Life Encyclopedias 1965-1972, thrift stores and the 60s pysch sounds of The Moody Blues. Sophisticated term for his art might be “contextual objectivism”.

Apparently, this is not his first collaboration with Arkitip as he ever participated in the Arkitip “Highmath” group exhibition in Berlin.

About Parra

Thirty-two-year-old artist, Parra, is a rising star in both the commercial and fine art worlds. His works are predominantly with Giclé prints.

Parra started doing graphic design in 1997 mostly flyers when he first moved to Amsterdam. He soon got bored with the industrial rule and went his own style: eliminating the pictures all together and drawing everything. He also created a weird beak-faced character with a human body.
