When I was a young rebellious teenager NIRVANA was, of course, my idol. Their best-selling album NEVERMIND accompanied while I was a teen spirit. CNN said that not everyone’s naked baby picture has become part of America’s pop-culture psyche. Of course, it led to other appearances. In 2005, he appeared on a Channel 4 show titled The 100 Greatest Albums. In 2008, Elden granted an interview to NPR’s All Things Considered. In a September 2006 interview with NME, Elden expressed his interest in meeting up with the remaining band members, and seems to be a fan of Nirvana and said, “Most bands around today can’t even get near to what Nirvana did on that album, and I’ll always be happy to be a part of it.” Elden has since appeared on the cover of cEvin Key’s The Dragon Experience in 2003.

The history of Castor Hat

The name CASTOR HAT ( kas ter ) is derived from French word for beaver. The felt hat was originally made from fur of a beaver. During the period 1550-1850, felt hats were very popular in much of Europe. Hats, like other forms of fashion, played a large role in reflecting one’s social identity. The shape and style of one’s hat signified to a passerby one’s profession, wealth and social rank and position. Color, shape and material all carried specific meaning.

European gentleman wanted fine hats. Quality hats required the best felting material available. In this case, beaver was an excellent raw material. BEAVER FUR could be easily combed to make a variety of hat shapes. It is also tight yet supple and will hold its shape far better under rough wear and successive wettings than felt made from wool or other types of fur. Likewise, beaver fur helped to provide stability and strength to the brim of the hat.

Due to the booming demand for beaver pelts in Europe, the animal underwent near-extinction by the early-mid 1600. This situation then led to the use of mixed material (demi-castor: beaver plus wool) and even substitute materials. Silk lining and straw hat were founded reliable and less expensive and more reliable. They were then became vogue.
