Seeing this glowing black-green watch, my mind rings the bell as I recall my little brother’s Ben 10 Watch: Omnitrix.
Well, don’t blame me guys…
animated television series Ben 10 of Cartoon Network Studio is so popular recently. I bet your kids are in a fantasy to morph into any variety of Ben Ten’s of alien life-forms. Simply turn the control dial and pick which Omnitrix aliens you like, namely Diamondhead, Fourarms, Ghostfreak, Heatblast, Grey Matter, Ripjaws, Stinkfly, Upgrade, Wildmutt, XLR8. Press the control dial back into place and you get transformed.
However,..you don’t have to worry guys..this is not a Ben Ten Watch neither a Toy Watch.
It’s a diver’s watch by BLANCPAIN with the name of 500 FATHOMS BENEATH THE SEA. Presented on the eve of the Baselworld 2009 watch show, the brand new 500 Fathoms displays a sporting design with diving utilities: water resistant of 1,000 meters (1 km depth? Wow!), a helium decompression valve for closed-environment diving, the unidirectional ratcheted bezel for handling and preventing any involuntary extension of the dive time, and the power of self-winding Calibre 1315 - specifically designed to equip sports watches.

Large phosphorescent Arabic numerals of the hour-makers, bezel markings and hands are in luminescent coated; and so does the base of the black dials; they carry out the fluorescence in the dark that creates the black-green effect of ‘Omnitrix;.
Unlike the other Blancpain watch, this one features brushed titanium case measuring 48 mm in diameter. The face displays engraved boat-propeller-like oscillating. The new 500 Fathoms is equipped with a sturdy, sporty and watertight strap in rubber-lined black sail as well as the sapphire crystal.
